We had an incredible experience with Dragonfly Safari and can't recommend them enough. Jonathan was extremely organized and made us feel completely safe and confident kiting in the Red Sea. The entire crew was also super friendly, helpful, and on top of everything. I really think these guys are definitely the best all around operation on the Red Sea. The whole experience itself was easy, fun, and luxurious from start to finish. If you want to spend the day relaxing on the boat, you absolutely can. And if you want to kite four times a day, they make that just as easy. The crew handles everything from pumping up your kites to breaking them down after each session, so you barely have to lift a finger. It's genuinely a world-class experience. The combination of amazing kiting, an incredible crew, and how seamless they make everything is pretty hard to beat. We had the best time and will definitely be coming back!
This was my third experience , first was incredible, second was even better. Definitely i will come back next year..... As promised I came again for the third year, everything was again exceptional, amazing, together with a very good windy week. The new bigger boat was extraordinary. Besides all very good technical issues including the meals, it is much more important for me to feel the enthusiasm of the owners Islam and Jonathan and all the crew and kite team. Thank you guys all for the love you put in your business. I will come next year for the 4th consecutive year, probably more crowded.
Came from San Francisco and the trip was 100% worth it. Absolute 5 star white glove service experience. The boat was sick — Massive and super nice. The team & staff were incredible. Super blue kite spots, very good food, the deserts were amazing. Already planning our trip back for 2028
Amazing experience! Fantastic staff on boat with great food, big smiles and excellent service throughout. The kite staff was beyond excellent; they did everything for us.. pumping kites, rolling out and in our bars quicker than the quickrelease and went above and beyond for maximizing our kiting time on the water. From sunrise sessions to sunset sessions, this trip was extraordinary! Thanks to Jonathan, Islam and the entire Dragon and Dragonfly crew!
Everything was perfect. The staff and planning were amazing, the kiting conditions were epic, the boat as simply beautiful and the people were awesome. We will be back a third time.
I can usually find ways to improve something...in this case, I couldn't -- the whole experience was perfect. Jonathan, Islam and the Dragonfly team are a well-oiled machine and operate a top-flight operation. The food was wonderfully prepared -- don't go there expecting to lose weight; the cleaning crew -- our rooms were cleaned daily; the on-board service staff -- always ready to help; the kiting staff - they work quickly and efficiently; the zodiac team -- always on time and helpful. As for kiting, the wind was consistent and perfect. I took beginner lessons and my initial thought was this was more of an advanced kiting trip. I couldn't have been more incorrect. Whatever your ability level, it was a wonderful environment to learn. The instructional crew was fantastic and super supportive. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced, whether you want lessons or not, I believe you can find what you are looking for on this trip. Even the pre-trip instructions were valued. Jonathon is very organized and more importantly wants you to experience the trip of a lifetime....which it was.
Everything perfect and thought out with great care. Food, staff, cleaning, support from the Kite team… everything amazing!

What an amazing week our group of 13 friends had with Dragonfly! The yacht, the kiting, the crew, the food and the overall experience were all top notch and first class. I would highly recommend Dragonfly to anyone who wants a well thought out truly stress free and luxury kiting adventure!
We departed today at 8:30am and already miss: the crew, the coffee, and our new friends! What a fabulously designed experience with all, and I mean all, the details seamlessly managed. The “Dragon” is as advertised- luxury. The rental equipment was excellent and kite instruction was patient and effective..Am I a fan - Yes. Look no further for the luxury kite safari that is the best on the Red Sea!!
Once again, Michele and I joined the Dragon Fly Safari trip—and this was our 4th year! Although Michele has officially retired from kitesurfing, she still loves coming along and spending time with everyone. And honestly, that’s a big part of why we keep coming back. Coming from the hospitality industry, we truly appreciate what it takes to deliver an exceptional experience. The entire Dragon Fly team are professionals in every aspect of the trip, from the boat crew to the kitesurfing team. Jonathan and Islam take great pride in making sure every guest is happy and well taken care of. And the new yacht is absolutely over the top! It’s easily the best one yet. This is my third year in a row going on this trip with DragonFly and it's always a blast! Top notch service and luxury on the Red Sea. The water conditions (warm, clear and flat) are incredible here! Perfect for advanced and beginners (They keep you in safe shallow waters for lessons). Tons of places to go cruise/safari around exploring and epic downwinders! Jonathan/Islam and the crew make it a great joy to be on board. Going on a holiday with 20-25 other kite boarders creates a bond that is so unique. Every year, my Dad, buddies and I have left super happy/pleased and with many new friends. The staff/crew are like a bunch of buddies we look forward to hanging with the next time around! All so welcoming and with big smiles! They do it all, from pumping the kites and rigging the lines (You literally only have to put your harness on and you walk to the water's edge), prepping the beach with the best beach setup compared to other outfitters and making it safe and fun at the same time. The food throughout is top and sooo tasty thanks to chef Mohammad. The guys running the dinghies even bring snack to the beach in the afternoons. Even if you're taking a break or not kiting they are looking after you. The first year I went, the boat was epic and each year the boat has gotten nicer and nicer! You just can't ask for more. The newest boat, The Dragon, gives you a view every meal time, several decks to choose to chill on and drink/snacks are ALL included. No nickel and dimming like the other boats on the sea. It's for a great reason that Dragonfly is highly rated and constantly delivers on the BEST week of kiting you can imagine. Look no further. Go with these guys and you will be thrilled you did! Myself and my wife have been on a number of safaris with Dragonfly. What keeps us coming back is the exemplary service, attention to detail in every regard and the wonderful boat and kite staff. Janathan's daily safety briefing is second to none and he truly cares about the well-being of each and every kiter. Dragonfly is hands down the best kiting experience on the Red Sea. The ship is spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The crew - from the kite support to cooks, support staff and boat crew - are tirelessly attentive, good natured, and totally fun to spend your time with. The level of service is off the charts, every need is met with a smile on the face. And the kiting ... The Dragonfly team knows where to go, to find the best wind, the most spectacular kiting spots, and the prettiest lagoons. The team supports everything you need - from instructions of places to go (and avoid), full transport and set up of all you need to hit the water, support if anything goes wrong, exceptional training/lessons for all levels, and great kiting karma! If you want an epic kiting safari, Dragonfly is the way to go.

A+ experience. Islam, Jonathan, and their crew are exception and the kiting is world class. We had a big group of mostly beginners on a private charter; and everyone was up and riding by the end of the trip. Even the one down day with no wind was excellent: dolphins, snorkeling, foiling, etc. Will come back again
Having been on other kite safaris in Egypt, I can confidently say that Dragonfly exceeded all our expectations. The Yacht (Dragon): Absolutely stunning. Spanning 5 decks, it features comfortable cabins, an air-conditioned salon, a massage room, a gear store, a spacious dining room, a coffee bar, a pool, and a gorgeous sundeck. There is plenty of space on board to either socialise or find a quiet pocket to relax. Kitesurfing: A truly best-in-class experience. The crew is highly experienced and deeply service-oriented. Sunrise sessions start at 5:45 AM, with fresh coffee already waiting for you beforehand. The two 2-to-2.5-hour downwinders were incredibly fun and a thrilling challenge. Zodiacs run like clockwork every 30 minutes from 9 AM to 7 PM to shuttle you to and from the lagoons. There is ample room for everyone to ride and practice new tricks, and the coaching (optional) was exceptional, I’ve never progressed so fast while feeling so safe. A few times when I lost my board, a zodiac or staff member rescued it before I even realised it, ensuring my session was completely seamless. The Food: Where do I even start? Three times a day, we were treated to exquisite buffets loaded with fresh salads, vegetables, fish, beef, chicken, and a full fresh fruit and dessert bar. With two talented chefs onboard, it’s a 10/10 dining experience. Plus, snacks, coffee, and fresh fruit shakes are available all day long. The Service: All-around exceptional. The boat is kept sparkling clean, and the kite team ensures your gear is ready within minutes, and always perfectly sized for the wind conditions. Out on the water, you have an entire safety team watching over you, making sure you are having fun and staying safe at all times. Family-Friendly: We traveled with our 2-year-old, and the team went above and beyond. They didn't just make him feel incredibly welcome; they actively supported us at every step so we could genuinely relax and enjoy our holiday. We already cannot wait to return next year. Thank you to the entire Dragonfly team. You are truly exceptional!

I don’t do reviews. But this is different. I have tried to learn to kitesurf for years. Dragonfly unlocked this ambition, and it means a lot. An immensely talented team from the moment I stepped on the boat. A thoughtfully curated experience, impossible to forget. Do it.
